In the year 2013 I visited my brother, who had a very old guineapig. "Cosy" was ten years old and she had just lost her friend ("Rosie"). She was sitting in the corner of her cage and didn`t want to eat any more. She looked so depressed and this broke my heart. 

 

Spontaneously I decided to take her with me .... and immediately  I started the Investigation on the internet. … I found out, that she needs a friend - so I brought two younger guineapigs to her. The old lady and the youngsters ….. 

 

Then I found out, that I also have to clean the cage outside, even when its raining …. my dear husband made a roof over the cage und so on and so on ….. a very interesting and emotional journey startet ...

Now we habe 7 guineapigs, living in a gardenhut with the option to go out in the garden - where they are living the whole year.

​

I startet to sew for my piggies, pipipads, houses, couches, cakes and cosies…. and it still makes great fun to do  it.
